Privacy Policy

This page explains the data used by LessonLoom's free tools, contact form and optional resource updates form.

Who the site is for

LessonLoom is intended for adult educators. Do not submit children's names, student records, health information or other sensitive personal details in any form or planning field.

Visiting the website

WordPress and Hostinger may process IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, timestamps and security or error events to deliver and protect the site. The hosting provider controls its own operational logs and retention. WordPress administration uses login cookies for signed-in administrators. Hostinger caching or security features may use technical cookies or similar mechanisms. No analytics service is configured by this plugin, and this plugin does not set marketing cookies.

Lesson planner and printables

The lesson planner generates text in your browser using local rules. The plugin does not send planner entries to an AI provider or save generated lesson content in the WordPress database. Browser print and Save as PDF actions are handled by your browser and device. Avoid entering identifiable student information.

Contact messages

The contact form collects your name, email address, message and acknowledgement so a site administrator can respond. WordPress hands the message to the site's existing email delivery configuration. Email delivery and receipt must be verified on the live site before relying on it for support. The plugin does not publish contact messages. FluentSMTP was observed with email logging set to 14 days at the time of drafting; mail services and the site inbox may keep copies according to their own settings.

Optional free resource updates

If you choose to opt in, the form stores your email address and, if supplied, first name, teaching level, grade and subject interests. It also stores the source page, associated resource, UTM source/medium/campaign when present, consent status, consent text version and timestamps. These records are kept in a WordPress database table accessible only to authorized administrators. The plugin sends a single confirmation link through the existing WordPress mail connection; the address becomes a verified lead only after that link is used. It stores a hash of the confirmation token, not the token itself. It does not send marketing emails or connect an email marketing provider in V1. The consent box is not preselected, and the free planner and resources remain usable without signing up.

Retention and access

Pending confirmations expire after seven days and are removed by a scheduled cleanup. The plugin also schedules daily removal of lead records that have not been updated for 365 days through WordPress Cron, which runs when site traffic or server jobs trigger it. A site administrator may export or delete lead records for authorized administration; exported copies need separate secure handling and deletion. Contact emails, hosting logs and backups may have different retention periods set by their respective services. WordPress and hosting backups can retain historical copies until those backups expire.

Cookies, analytics and other services

This plugin has no public user accounts, advertising pixels, social embeds, video embeds or analytics integration. Other WordPress plugins and Hostinger services may have their own processing; review the active production configuration when deploying. The existing email delivery service processes contact messages. No paid AI or translation service is called by LessonLoom's plugin.

Your choices

You may use the planner and printables without giving an email address. To request access, correction or deletion of a lead record or contact message, use the contact form and identify the email address you used. We may need to verify the request and retain records where required. If the contact form cannot reach the site operator, the site owner must publish another verified contact channel before deployment.

Changes

This policy will be updated when site features or data handling change. This draft describes the packaged V1 plugin; the live site's full plugin and hosting behavior should be reviewed at deployment.
