How to Save Free Resource Preferences
Save your interests for possible future free teaching resource updates, after using the tools.

What it does and who it helps
The optional form stores your email and selected teaching interests in the LessonLoom WordPress database. It sends one confirmation link but does not save your lesson plan or send marketing emails in V1.
It is for adult educators who want to record an opt-in interest in future free resources.
It gives the site a way to understand demand for resources without blocking the free planner or printables.
Step by step
- Use the planner or open a resource first.
- Find the optional free updates form after the useful content.
- Enter a valid email; name, level, grade and subject interests are optional.
- Read the Privacy Policy and check the consent box yourself.
- Choose Save my preferences, then open the confirmation link sent to your email within seven days.
Fields and controls
- Email is required; first name, teaching level, grade and interests are optional.
- The consent box starts unchecked; email ownership is confirmed by a one-time link.
- Save my preferences stores a pending record and requests a confirmation email; it does not email a plan or subscribe you to an external service.
Classroom example
Input or preparation: A primary teacher enters an email, selects Primary / Elementary, and writes literacy as an interest.
Example result: After the link is used, the admin list marks the record verified with source page, resource and consent date. The teacher can still print without signing up.
Edit, copy and print
A pending record can be resubmitted with the same email. To correct a verified record or request deletion, use the Contact form.
The form has no Copy button. Select text on a resource page if you need a copy of resource instructions.
The form itself does not print anything. Use Print this resource on a resource page.
Submitting stores contact details and preferences, not lesson or worksheet content. Save a lesson as PDF through the browser print dialog.
Teacher tips
- Submit only your own contact information.
- Keep student names and sensitive details out of the optional fields.
Common mistakes
- Do not mistake this form for a lesson-plan save or email-delivery feature.
- Do not mistake the confirmation email for a marketing newsletter; none is sent in V1.
FAQ
Will I receive an email immediately?
The existing WordPress mail service attempts to send a confirmation link. No marketing email is sent in V1.
Is signup needed to use the planner?
No. The planner and all printables work without an email address.
